Size

A tea that can only exist because of a tiny green leafhopper.

Before harvest, these insects bite the young leaves of the tea plant. Instead of damaging them, the bite triggers a natural defense — a chemical transformation that creates an unmistakable honey sweetness no processing technique can replicate.

The more they bite, the sweeter the tea. Every harvest is limited. Every batch is different.

What You’ll Taste

Amber-gold liquor with layers of raw honey, stone fruit, and orchid. Naturally sweet, zero bitterness. The kind of tea that changes what you think oolong can be.

The Story

Bai Hao Oolong — also called Oriental Beauty — is Taiwan’s most celebrated specialty tea. Hand-picked at one bud, two leaves in the mountains of northern Taiwan, then carefully withered, tumbled, fermented, and roasted by hand.

It’s a tea that can’t be mass-produced. The leafhoppers don’t follow a schedule. The farmer can’t control how much they bite. That’s what makes every batch rare — and every cup worth slowing down for.
